In 2007 Opel relaunched its legendary roadster as part of the strategic rejuvenation process of the Opel brand. In that context the focus has been placed on developing an interactive movie to engage users to explore the core attributes of this roadster legend. The movie is embedded in the mysterious film noir atmosphere to stage the Opel GT in the most dramatic way and to increase the emotional impact. On the executional level the online special is characterized by the seamless integration of blue-screen recordings into a 3D environment, making it a unique brand experience. As a result the GT`aime special generated 30.000 qualified leads in just 5 months. (2007 Mobius Award for Outstanding Creativity, 2007 W3 Silver Award.)
